Newrest is hiring an Operational Compliance Agent . This individual is responsible for monitoring operational throughout from Inbound to Outbound movement of food, beverage, and equipment. This position is to ensure that departments are meeting expectations for all aspects of the job expectations associated with providing equipment to meet relative time constraints. This team member coaches team members towards meeting expectations and tracks/reports violations for corrective action. This position is part of the Operational Compliance Department, reporting to the Operational Compliance Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitors activity within all departments to ensure that team members are performing functions according to expectations and associated SOP(s). Performs Operational Compliance audits for performance measurement. Coordinates with Pick and Pack, Food Production, and Transportation to ensure staffing supports On Time Performance (OTP) to meet Dock Ready Time (DRT). Coordinates with Pick and Pack, Food Production, and Transportation leadership to ensure proactive measures are taken to meet DRT performance goals. Utilization of Winrest Application (TIMEBLOCK) to track OTP via required time stamps to follow the movement of equipment. Ensures that agents are present at workstations ensures timely DRT performance. Monitors planned DRT against actual DRT and elevates issues to departmental leadership any time actual exceeds planned by more than 10 minutes, with reasons for delayed DRT. Tracks performance compliance issues and communicates to Departmental leadership for corrective actions. Provides support to operational functions as requested by Management. Perfil
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED1-3 years’ experience in inflight catering or airport hub environment, manufacturing, logistics, or food industry preferred. QUALIFICATIONS : Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with non-exempt to upper management levels. Ability to effectively handle conflict and de-escalate emotionally charged situations Good knowledge of investigation procedures and root cause analysis. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational processes Strategic thinker with creative and excellent problem solving and decision-making skills Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability Strong analytical skills for interpretation of data to effectively manage risk PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
