Reporting to the Global VM Coordination & Education Director,you are ensuring the support and communication with the markets of theGlobal visual merchandising creative direction & the collection narratives.

As a company’s brand keeper and a key partner beween Creative VM and markets, you will make sure that the image standards and the VM messages are projected at all times.

With your expertise and market experience, you will contribute to the fluidity and efficiency of the VM communication to the markets, assisting them in creating compelling visual merchandising displaysin phase with the creative direction while considering the local challenges.

YOUR IMPACT AT CHANEL

Yourmain missions will be the following :

• You understand market issues, and with your ability to solve VM problems, you are able to validate local VM adaptations, and to find alternatives in line with the Global Creative vision. Finding and sharing best practices, you will create additional resources of VM solutions using your VM experience and ability to create displays. • You are responsible of monitoring, with your team, via IWD, photo reports and market visits, the Visual Merchandising of the boutiques ensuring VM standards are met and exceeded in all markets. This includes post-execution follow ups to ensure consistency with the Global guidelines and strategies.• You will facilitate the coordination between the creative departments & the markets, ensuring all VM aspects are anticipated -for store openings, special events and presentations, collection launches and other set ups.• You (and/or your team) will attend key set ups and making sure the VM standards are achieved.• You will play a key part in the assessment process of the VM scenographies/displays & windows impact, by providing regular photo and feedback reports.• You will contribute with your expertise in the validation of guidelines: providing accurate feedback from markets, and feasibility, you will work with your manager and the creative team on providing support in the guideline contents.• VM transmission: working with your team and the VM teams in the markets to develop their understanding of our brand image.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
 

• You have at least 8-10 years of experience in retail or luxury Visual Merchandising roles –field experience necessary, having a market experience would be a plus• You have effective management skills, bothteammanagementandtransversal management• You are self-reliant, self-motivated, and have an ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines without supervision• You have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and so can follow through easily• Your organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to work efficiency with various teams• You have a strong creative flair and effective problem-solving abilities. • You have a complete understanding of the retail industry and competitors.• You have an excellent knowledge of pack Office -and InDesign and Photoshop a plus.• You are fluent in English and French is a plus.
