Through the aesthetic presentation of windows, mannequins and walls within the Boutique, the Visual Merchandising Manager Fashion Europe orchestrates a community of visual merchandisers who are the interface between the artistic direction of the House and the sales teams. Translating the inspiration of a season, the style and image of CHANEL via visual displays, the Visual Merchandising Manager Fashion Europe brings together all visual merchandising teams and activities in the region to ensure consistency across markets in line with global guidelines, while respecting local market sensibilities, based on cultural, retail and client context. Bringing the energy of the fashion shows to life via static displays in the each of the region’s boutiques, the Visual Merchandising Manager Fashion Europe empowers local visual merchandisers to ensure the House’s visual codes are clearly relayed and consistent, while creating a memorable journey for each client in all areas related to merchandise presentation.

He/she directly reports to the Fashion Europe Visual Merchandising Director.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL:

Enabling the expression of the artistic direction of CHANEL in-store, while reflecting local and regional sensibilities to create a unique and memorable client journey via Fashion displays and windows

• You are the primary communication channel between the Global Visual Merchandising office and country Visual Merchandisers

• You provide creative direction and technical assistance for all boutique installations throughout the region to ensure the proper in-store presentation of the brand

• You educate and equip markets with all necessary knowledge and tools to execute the highest standards of visual merchandising in their markets

Being an ambassador of CHANEL’s style, serving as an interface between the House’s artistic direction and the needs of the sales team to inspire the local clientele

• You anticipate a responding to markets’needs while maintaining global consistency and creating adapted guidelines to respond the region needs

• You build a strong communication between Global Visual Merchandising office and markets to provide feedback of regional needs to Global Visual Merchandising office and vice versa

Enhancing business growth by showcasing the CHANEL dream as imagined in each collection.

• You participate in buying sessions to ensure boutiques across the region receive the product selection that will reflect the image standards and studio vision of each collection

• You review the quality of implementation of window displays and merchandising presentation for each of the six fashion collections per year

YOUR PROFILE:

• Graduated in Design, Fashion and/or Arts disciplines, you have at least 3 years of experience in VM in Fashion Industry

• You have a strong Knowledge of Fashion, Style and understand the business needs

• You are able to draft / illustrate / articulate window display directions and guidelines to provide with markets

• Illustrator, Photoshop, and sketches have no secret for you
