Purchasing Strategy Implementation

Manage spend according to Purchasing & Commodity strategy Implement a global cost structure evaluation approach for your suppliers Steer the quality/cost/lead time performance of suppliers (performance reviews, audits, action plans) Update data in the ERP and ensure compliance with purchasing processes

Continuous Improvement Of Purchasing Strategy

Identify savings and cost optimization potentials globally & locally Lead cost saving initiatives, align with stakeholders and drive to implementation Conduct yearly (or regular) negotiations with global & local strategic suppliers Manage contracts & negotiations

Market Monitoring & Updating Key Data

Monitor and analyze market tendencies with focus on prices, suppliers, producers and new technologies Ensure a permanent market watch as well as a monthly reporting of the performance of your activity Update spend data gathering & analysis on influencing spend patterns Monitor & report commodity KPIs (PPV, Weighted Payment, Quality & Delivery Performance)

What You Will Need To Succeed

Master's Degree from an engineering school Minimum 3 years of experience as a commodity buyer Excellent sense of humility, simplicity and partnership: our vision for our suppliers is long term, it is essential to build good relationships with them A business level English proficiency, associated with a bilingual level of French. Other european languages are a plus.
