We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Legal Department, specializing in International Business Law (including but not limited to tax laws and corporate laws). This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic international business environment, working closely with our legal team on a variety of projects.

Role and responsibilities:
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on international business laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to our industry.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to international transactions.
- Cross-border Transactions: Support the legal team in the analysis and management of cross-border business transactions.
- Compliance: Monitor changes in international business laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. Assist in developing and maintaining compliance programs.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist the in-house counsel in onboarding the company with financial institutions, providers.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal support and advice on various international business matters.
- Monitor the evolution of laws and regulations
Requirements
Background and experience
- You are preparing a Master 2 with a focus on International business law, tax law, or financial law
- A previous experience in a Fintech or a law firm would be appreciated
Skills and personality
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of legal principles and business practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and legal research databases.
- You are motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
- Professional proficiency in English and French.
Start Date: July 2024
Duration: 6 months
