Our offering and expertise ranges from Network and Telecom Core Network Security, Intrusion Detection and Vulnerability Assessment solutions with technology backed by 10 years of engineering research. We are a lean scale up, engaged aggressively in emerging markets (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia), Europe and North America.

The P1 Security team includes experts from telecom operators and security companies as well as renowned security researchers who regularly present unique P1 Security research at leading international security conferences & GSMA working groups. P1 Labs, R&D branch of P1 Security, is sharing Open Source initiatives with the telecom security community (www.github.com/P1sec/)

In 2024, we are launching a new chapter for the company and we are looking to grow the team with stellar individuals ready to embark on a new journey for critical infrastructure security.

Tasks

About the Role

You will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our infrastructure to deliver a reliable experience to both our customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up EPC / IMS and RAN network test beds / network for conducting research
  • Conduct security assessments, audits and penetration testing on telecom network infrastructure (redteam) on our customer premises, preferably remotely
  • Spot vulnerabilities in the different sets of interfaces of the target: operation and maintenance, signaling, userplane, …
  • Develop proofs of concept to illustrate the effectiveness of the findings
  • Propose, develop and implement mitigations and security solutions to protect against network attacks and intrusions
  • Present reports to the customers
  • Contribute to enhance existing and build new products based on field feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure telecom systems.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Have a through understanding of IMS and their associated security vulnerabilities.(other protocols like SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, LTE, and IMS, GTP-C protocols a plus)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with Telecom Core Network Security and Intrusion Detection systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
