Role Description The Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer is a full-time remote role that supports the CEO in strategic, operational, and administrative activities. Day-to-day tasks include managing the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing briefings and meeting materials. The role involves conducting research, drafting correspondence and presentations, tracking action items, and following up with internal and external stakeholders. The Special Assistant will help organize and prioritize the CEO’s workload, support execution of key initiatives, and maintain clear communication across teams. This position also requires handling confidential information with discretion and proactively identifying ways to improve efficiency in the CEO’s operations.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, presentations, and executive correspondence.
  • Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, project management software, virtual meeting platforms).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or working in an executive assistant, chief of staff, or similar coordination role.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present clear recommendations.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup or digital media environment; interest in Olympic sports and social media is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
