Temps plein
We are adding a Data Analyst - Intern to our team to support a project for a major French transport provider. Our current work involves taking fragmented logistics data and organizing it into a single, reliable source for their operations staff. You will help us verify that numbers match across different databases and ensure the dashboards their team uses are accurate. This is a full-time, fully remote internship where you will work with real production data that helps keep transport services running smoothly.
About Pixel Systems
Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency that builds the tools teams actually use. We do not do flashy consumer apps or marketing sites. Instead, we focus on the practical stuff: admin panels, CRM integrations, and the database migrations that people usually try to avoid. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a sprawling spreadsheet with a real database or get their different software tools to finally talk to one another.
We believe that working code is better than a perfect plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, we do weekly demos, and we hand over everything when we are finished. We use reliable, well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain. We are a team of developers and designers who prefer solving real operational headaches over chasing the latest trends.
The role
In this role, you will do the practical work of data analysis. Many organizations have data tucked away in old spreadsheets or locked in separate software tools. Your job is to help us get that data out, clean it up, and move it into a central Postgres database. You will also spend time building basic dashboards so the transport client can see their metrics in real time.
This role is not about theoretical models or high-level data science. It is about making sure that the data is clean, the queries are efficient, and the final reports are useful for the people running the transport networks. Since we are a remote company, you will manage your tasks through digital boards and keep your colleagues updated on your progress through written notes and short video walkthroughs.
What we look for
Working here is different from working at a large corporation. There are no layers of middle management. You will work directly with our developers and designers in a flat structure. We communicate mostly through text and weekly demos. Because we are fully remote, we focus on what you produce rather than how many hours you spend sitting at a desk. This is a paid position, and the pay is competitive for the role and the market. You will be working on tasks that have a direct effect on how transport logistics are managed, which is a great way to see the real-world utility of data analysis. We value honesty, stability, and people who take pride in doing a job well without the need for constant supervision.
We have built our reputation on being a safe pair of hands for businesses with technical problems. We take pride in building stable software that does not break at 2 AM. If you are interested in learning how data is actually handled in a professional setting without the usual corporate jargon, this role offers a straightforward look at the industry. We keep our team small so that everyone can stay focused on building things that actually work.
