Senior Associate – Infrastructure Fund | Paris


An established infrastructure investment fund is expanding its investment team in Paris, targeting equity investments in high-quality infrastructure assets across Europe. The platform focuses on sectors such as energy transition, utilities, transport, and digital infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deal Execution: Drive the execution of investment opportunities from initial screening and structuring through to financial close, managing key transaction workstreams.
  • Financial Analysis & Valuation: Oversee and build complex financial models, including LBO, project finance, and operational models, to evaluate investment returns, capital structures, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Due Diligence Coordination: Lead the commercial, technical, financial, and legal due diligence processes, coordinating closely with external advisers and internal specialists.
  • Investment Committee Preparation: Draft high-quality investment memoranda, presentation materials, and recommendations for the Investment Committee.
  • Portfolio Management: Support the monitoring and value-creation initiatives of portfolio companies, assisting with refinancing, bolt-on acquisitions, and operational performance reviews.
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: Direct and mentor junior team members (Analysts and Associates) on financial modeling, research, and analysis.


Candidate Profile


  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in infrastructure private equity, infrastructure investment banking, project finance, or corporate development within the infrastructure/energy sector.
  • Sector Focus: Strong familiarity with infrastructure sub-sectors (e.g., renewable energy, digital infra, transport, social infra, or utilities).
  • Technical Skills: Exceptional financial modeling capabilities, deep understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and transaction structuring.
  • Core Competencies: Commercial acumen, rigorous analytical skills, and the capability to lead workstreams with minimal supervision.
  • Languages & Location: Fluency in French and English is required; fluency in another European language is a distinct advantage. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Paris.
