At the Ministry of Justice and Health of the State of Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel, the Joint Office for Information and Communication Technology in Courts, Public Prosecutor's Offices and Prisons (GemIT), IT Control Team, is seeking to fill the following position at the earliest possible date
of an Information Security Coordinator of an Information Security Coordinator (m/f/d)
About us
The justice system in Schleswig-Holstein is undergoing an extensive process of digitalization. The work processes of the judiciary are supported by complex IT applications. The technical operation of these IT processes is mainly carried out by the state service provider Dataport. Higher-level tasks, such as information security, are primarily carried out by the Joint Office for Information and Communication Technology in Courts, Public Prosecutor's Offices and Prisons (GemIT).
Many work processes can be made more efficient through digitalization in administration and justice. At the same time, this also results in new risks for information security. The justice system in Schleswig-Holstein relies on information security coordinators to successfully deal with these risks.
Your tasks
The main area of responsibility includes
- Management and implementation of the analysis and follow-up of information security incidents
- Advice on all aspects of information security and IT emergency management
- Further development of information security objectives and creation of information security concepts
- Carrying out risk analyses and creating IT emergency preparedness concepts
- Coordinating the implementation of information security and IT emergency preparedness measures
- Collaboration in the information security management and IT emergency management of the justice system
- Advice, support and, if necessary, management of information security-related projects
- Deputizing for the Information Security Officer Justice
Requirements for the advertised position are
- A university degree conducive to the job (Bachelor / Diploma (FH)), e.g. business informatics, business administration, computer science, physics, mathematics or similar, analogously also law, graduate lawyer
- Professional experience in the coordination of complex tasks with several participants, e.g. in the context of projects
- Experience in the creation and implementation of target group-oriented concepts
You are also expected to have
- Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured, goal-oriented approach
- Strong advisory skills, even on complex issues
- High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
Also desirable are
- Extensive experience and knowledge of information security management according to IT-Grundschutz or similar
- Several years of professional experience in public authorities or corporate IT organizations

In the case of an employment relationship, a classification in pay group 11 TV-L is initially planned if the collective agreement and personal requirements are met. With proof of appropriate professional experience, classification in pay group 12 TV-L is possible. If the civil service and job-related requirements are met, a salary up to salary group A 12 SHBesO can be achieved.
