Purchasing Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Purchasing Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement process and ensuring that our company has the necessary supplies and materials to operate efficiently.

Responsibilities
Assist with the procurement process from identifying suppliers to placing purchase orders
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery
Collaborate with departments to understand purchasing needs and develop effective procurement strategies
Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Conduct research on potential suppliers and evaluate their ability to meet company requirements
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
