Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership : Direct and manage NPL portfolio investment activities to meet and exceed budgeted targets.
  • Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations for investment contracts, ensuring adherence to our values and compliance with all legal standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with business partners and key stakeholders.
  • Investment Execution : Oversee the entire investment process from origination to completion.
  • Market Analysis : Monitor market trends, present comprehensive reports, and provide accurate forecasts. Create tools to analyze indicators and identify forms of growth and development.
  • Cost Control : Manage costs and resources efficiently to achieve business objectives, focusing on accountability and business needs.
  • Process Optimization : Monitor and optimize the Portfolio Investment process, suggest and implement specific procedures and tools if necessary.
  • Legal Compliance : Guarantee legal compliance in investment management, identify and anticipate risks in the area, and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Team Communication : Maintain and develop good communication within the team and a constant positive and constructive attitude.
  • Group Communication : Maintain permanent contact with the Group and ensure the flow of information and exchange with their counterparts. Update KRUK Headquarters on market trends, sales opportunities, and activities.
  • Company Representation : Represent KRUK at external events, building the company’s reputation and maintaining high standards of integrity and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in economics, finance, or banking; post-graduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in banking, advisory, or the collection industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the main market dynamics in the non-performing loans (NPL) market.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Expertise in analyzing and processing financial data.
  • Intermediation Skills: Strong and proven intermediation skills; able to balance market and client needs with internal capacities and capabilities.
  • Independence: Completely independent in planning, organizing, and monitoring activities. Proactive approach and plenty of initiative.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and negotiation capabilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in French and English.
  • Mobility: Willingness to relocate to Malta and travel regularly to France.
