Das ist Ihr neues Aufgabengebiet

Als Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d) unterstützen Sie die Geschäftsbereiche und Stabsabteilungen von Umicore in der Region Central & Eastern Europe bei ihrer täglichen Arbeit, indem Sie qualitativ hochwertige juristische Beratung bieten. Darüber hinaus arbeiten Sie an konzernweiten Projekten und handeln selbständig sowie überwiegend als alleiniger oder federführender Anwalt. Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehört im Einzelnen:

  • Beratung , Erstellung und Verhandlung von Verträgen (z. B. Einkaufs-, Liefer-, Lizenz-, Forschungs- und Vertriebsverträge, Vertraulichkeitsvereinbarungen) und anderen Dokumenten
  • Rechtsberatung und -unterstützung sowohl im Falle von Rechtsstreitigkeiten als auch im Hinblick auf die Minderung der damit verbundenen Risiken
  • Zusammenarbeit und Abstimmung mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zur Klärung rechtlicher Fragen
  • Beaufsichtigung von Tätigkeiten externer Rechtsberater
  • Schulung von Kollegen zur Bewusstseinsschärfung für rechtliche Risiken und Methoden

Das bringen Sie mit

  • Volljurist (m/w/d) durch Abschluss des ersten und zweiten juristischen Staatsexamens mit jeweils wenigstens der Note „befriedigend“
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung (5-8 Jahre) als Rechtsanwalt / Rechtsanwältin, idealerweise in einer wirtschaftsrechtlich ausgerichteten Anwaltskanzlei und / oder als Unternehmensjurist / Unternehmensjuristin in einem multinationalen Unternehmen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Vertrags- und Wirtschaftsrecht (Allgemeines Zivilrecht, Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht)
  • Ausgezeichnete mündliche und schriftliche Verhandlungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Hohe Motivation für sehr unterschiedliche rechtliche Herausforderungen, Teamfähigkeit und interdisziplinäres Denken
  • Analytischen Verstand und das Interesse, die Geschäftstätigkeit des Unternehmens zu verstehen
  • Fähigkeit selbständig, pragmatisch und lösungsorientiert zu arbeiten
  • Bereitschaft für die Arbeit in internationalen Teams und die Bereitschaft für gelegentliche Reisen im In- und Ausland
