For an international company operating in the food industry we are looking for a:HEAD OF MODERN TRADE (cluster France/Netherlands/Belgium)Reporting directly to the Managing Director, he/she will have responsibility for all aspects of brand development and commercial management within the Off-Trade Channel.Key responsibilities:accountable for a specific set of cluster retailers - developing strategies for the account base that deliver against company & customers KPIsbe full responsible for contributing to total business budgeted sales and set subsector customer level budgets and KPI’s for the team as it growsresponsible for leading the account team to develop, set and deliver the annual sales revenue planaccountable for the delivery of in-store execution, standards of distribution, display and promotion build and nurture key customer relationships up to Category Director levelaccountable for ensuring annual operating plans communicate a clear vision and objectives to the team, to motivate and inspire their performancecontinually develop the capabilities of the team, via coaching, feedback and formal trainingresponsible for attending and shaping critical sales meetings and cross functional meetings to review progress and course correct where necessary.identify new business opportunities especially in the on-line area with a coherent plan to deliver against these.Fluent French and English; ExperienceA minimum of 10 years relevant senior sales experience working with FMCG (premium / luxury would be an advantage).A very good knowledge of the French off trade market - managing national relationships with major multiple retailers, and delivering growth across portfolio.
