As they continue to expand their operations, this company are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of RFP.

Position Overview: As the Head of RFP, you will lead the request for proposal function, overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality proposals and presentations to prospective investors and clients. You will play a critical role in shaping the firm's narrative, articulating their investment philosophy, and highlighting their competitive advantages in the marketplace. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with investment professionals, sales teams, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the RFP team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the timely and accurate completion of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs.

  • Partner with portfolio managers and research analysts to gather relevant investment information and develop compelling content tailored to specific client requirements.

  • Oversee the RFP process from start to finish, including project coordination, content creation, and quality control, to ensure adherence to deadlines and best practices.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on investment strategies, market trends, and regulatory requirements, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance RFP collateral, presentations, and marketing materials, maintaining brand consistency and messaging integrity.

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and third-party vendors, to gather feedback and identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in RFP management, preferably within the hedge fund or asset management industry, with a proven track record of success in client-facing roles.

  • Strong leadership abilities, with demonstrated experience managing teams, driving results, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex investment concepts into clear, compelling narratives for a diverse audience.

  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, anticipate client needs, and develop innovative solutions to enhance the RFP process and drive business growth.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and RFP automation tools (e.g., Qvidian, RFPIO) preferred.
