BDD/Associate VP Business Development

Proclinical is seeking a BDD/Associate VP Business Development individual. The successful candidate will manage existing and new business opportunities in the ADME-Tox field. This includes customer management, new business generation, and direct client interaction. This customer-facing role requires a deep understanding of clients' needs and the ability to address these effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop opportunities and close deals by understanding customer's requirements, presenting and structuring a business and scientific framework.Coordinate and attend meetings with current or potential customers, internal Company personnel and others to meet customer needs.Build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.Manage and execute the RFI/RFP processes including interactions with both sales and technical staff.Develop an in-depth understanding of products and services, and their impact on customer projects.Drive additional revenue opportunities from within existing company relationships.Answer web enquiries and follow up with contacts for other potential business development opportunities.Attend Company meetings, key conferences and workshops.Maintain CRM (Salesforce).Key Skills and Requirements:
BS degree in life sciences required. Advanced degree in life sciences preferred.Experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry and relevant business development experience.Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with a high degree of independence.Strong knowledge of the licensing/business development landscape.Ability to develop deal structures, write proposals and working knowledge of industry deal trends.Demonstrated, strong negotiating skills and ability to conduct and successfully conclude negotiations on deals.Ability to work well with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration.Ability to travel is required.If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Nicolas Daniel at n.daniel@proclinical.com
