Job Purpose
The Workplace Experience (WPE) Technical Manager France (Paris 80% and 20% regions) sits within Adevinta's People, Communications & Workplace (PCW) function. This role's primary responsibility is managing the technical elements of Adevinta's Paris and regional workplaces. This role reports into the Workplace Experience Lead, France and acts as main contact person for all technical related (outsourced) partners, operations and technical specific projects

Job Description

You will be part of the French WPE team, reporting to the Workplace Experience Lead for France, located in Paris. As the responsible manager, you will oversee (technical) administrative tasks, coordinate with different technical service providers, and independently ensure the effective technical and safety operations of Adevinta Group's sites in France.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 

Technical Maintenance Management:

Manage and optimize technical maintenance across all rental properties within the Adevinta Group in France.Ensure continuous proper functioning of technical equipment through inspection and maintenance.Coordinate maintenance interventions as per contracts, managing budgets and validating invoices.Oversee maintenance contracts with external providers and handle emergency calls and troubleshooting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards.Supervise routine maintenance and new projects, ensuring compliance with allocated budgets.Implement sustainable development programs to minimize environmental impact.

Operational Excellence Delivery:

Take charge of technical management for Paris workplaces, suggesting and costing improvements.Oversee delivery of technical enhancements, collaborating with in-house and external technicians.Efficiently schedule maintenance appointments and oversee routine maintenance.Monitor building elements and usage, supporting budgeting for improvements.Ensure prompt payments to suppliers/contractors and enforce hygiene and safety rules.

Team Management:

Supervise outsourced suppliers/contractors and champion a proactive culture.Test and implement innovative solutions, supporting the WPE Lead, France.Contribute to creating a positive work environment within the French Workplace Experience team.Contribute to cross country knowledge sharing within the Global Workplace Experience team on request
