Allianz has an immediate opening for an experienced Distribution Support Assistant in their Paris office.

Your Team

The Sales and Distribution team is committed to providing client and broker solutions, working with and alongside many key areas of Allianz Commercial. Together with Key Account Managers, the Marketing and Sales Support experts are at the forefront of customer engagement with the aim of building long-term, profitable and sustainable relationships. We are a dynamic team who are integral to the business.

You will report directly to the Regional Marketing and Sales Support Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a role that touches on many aspects of the Distribution function.

The Impact You Will Have

In the context of this role, you will be proactive in managing administrative and operational relations with brokers and in sales support activities. You will also be responsible for coordinating calls for tender, in collaboration with the sales and technical teams. You will interact with both internal and external partners.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Manage the broker administration process:

- Manage the entire broker administration process, including broker accreditation, credit assessment, negotiation of commercial agreements, broker remuneration policy, etc.

- Applying the broker remuneration process in collaboration with Key Account Managers and Underwriters and ensuring compliance with defined standards.

- Working with the Legal team to ensure that processes are compliant, particularly in the context of delegated underwriting or claims management.

- Maintain an overview of agreements between Allianz Commercial and brokers and assist with annual negotiations.

Help strengthen commercial relations with our brokers:

- Prepare regular summaries of our relationships with key brokers.

- Assist the Key Account Managers by contributing to the preparation and follow-up of regular business development meetings to increase the chances of success for renewals and new opportunities.

Managing the coordination of calls for tender:

- Steering and coordinating calls for tender in cross-functional project management mode, in collaboration with the teams concerned

- Drafting and formatting documents and deliverables

- Maintenance of internal and external Allianz Commercial communication media, with regular updates in line with our production charter and a spirit of service quality excellence.

Other responsibilities:

- Act as regional coordinator for broker-related matters.

- Coordinate and consolidate responses to requests from the Global Distribution function.

- As required, contribute to the drafting and formatting of commercial documents and deliverables.

- As required, provide support to the rest of the team on various Distribution issues.

What You'll Bring to the Role

- Minimum 10 years' experience in the insurance industry.

- Degree in economics, management or law.

- Basic knowledge of various lines of business (Property, Liability, etc.)

- Fluency in English (written and spoken), with excellent communication skills.

- Project management skills.

- Analytical skills: ability to organise, analyse and disseminate large amounts of information (text and data) with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good management of pressure and ability to meet often tight deadlines.

- Versatility and team spirit.

- At ease in an intercultural and international context.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and motivated by customer satisfaction.

- Agile mindset, with the ability to adapt to change.
