Internship - ESG Analyst for Private Assets (Private Debt) H/F - January 2027 - Tikehau Capital

At Tikehau Capital, ESG considerations are a core component of the investment decision-making process and are fully embedded into the strategy. This internship offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing global alternative asset manager and to work closely with both the Investment and ESG teams across the Private Credit platform on a broad range of topics

The intern will support the ESG team in its day-to-day activities, including:

• Supporting the launch and coordination of the annual ESG reporting campaign across portfolio companies (project management)
• Assisting the investment teams with the completion of ESG due diligence questionnaires;
• Coordinating and contributing to the preparation of annual ESG reports, covering all related regulatory requirements, including SFDR periodic disclosures as well as dedicated quarterly and annual reporting;
• Supporting ESG analysis, including ESG scoring, monitoring of ESG performance and decarbonisation targets, benchmarking, etc.
• Contributing to the team's engagement efforts with priority portfolio companies on ESG, impact and controversy-related matters;
• Supporting the continuous enhancement of the ESG function through improvements to tools and processes, the development of training initiatives, and contributions to the team's research capabilities and knowledge base on specific sectors and sustainability themes;
• Assisting with the preparation and production of presentations, legal documentation and marketing materials.
• Manage and coordinate responses to annual LP ESG questionnaires, reporting requests, and due diligence inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of information.

At Group level :

• The implementation of cross-functional ESG projects;
• The Group's ESG reporting activities.

The intern will join the ESG Private Credit team in Paris and report to the Private Credit ESG Associate based in Paris.

Ce poste est une opportunité de faire partie d'un gestionnaire d'actifs alternatifs en pleine croissance et de travailler avec les équipes d'investissement et ESG de la plateforme de Private Credit sur diverses thématiques de durabilité.

Le stagiaire assistera l'équipe ESG dans ses missions, comprenant :

• Participation au lancement et au pilotage de la campagne de reporting ESG auprès de nos sociétés en portefeuille (gestion de projet)
• Assistance des équipes d'investissement à la complétion des questionnaires de due diligence.
• Pilotage et participation à la production des rapports annuels ESG, en couvrant l'ensemble des exigences réglementaires associées, notamment les rapports périodiques SFDR ainsi que les reportings dédiés trimestriels et annuels.
• Aide à l'analyse ESG (notation ESG, suivi de la performance ESG et des objectifs de décarbonation, benchmark, etc.).
• Participation aux efforts d'engagement avec l'équipe pour les entreprises prioritaires du portefeuille sur les sujets d'impact, ESG et controverses.
• Participation aux efforts de l'équipe et contribution au renforcement du département : amélioration des outils, mise en œuvre des processus efficaces, propositions d'initiatives de formation, et renforcement des capacités de recherche de l'équipe en contribuant au savoir-faire et au contenu sur des secteurs et/ou des thèmes spécifiques.
• Aide à la préparation et la production de présentations, de documents légaux et marketing.

• Gérer et coordonner les réponses aux questionnaires ESG annuels des investisseurs (LP), aux demandes de reporting et aux diligences raisonnables (due diligence), en veillant à la fourniture d'informations exactes, cohérentes et dans les délais impartis

Au niveau du groupe :

• Participation à la mise en œuvre de projets ESG transversaux
• Participation au reporting du groupe

Le stagiaire intégrera l'équipe ESG Private Credit et reportera à l'Associate ESG Private Credit, basé à Paris.

Profile :

• Final or penultimate year student from a top business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills: ability to approach problems logically and systematically, and to analyze information effectively.
• Demonstrating a meticulous approach to tasks, including data entry, report formatting, and documentation, ensuring precision and accuracy in all Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work autonomously, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
