Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Data Strategy & Growth, to drive our Maison's ongoing Data/AI/GenAI acceleration.

Reporting to the Worldwide Director of Data & AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving our data transformation forward.

You will BE responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives and fosters growth.

Your leadership will transform data into strategic assets that propel Parfums Christian Dior to new heights in the global market.

Vision and Strategy

  • Define and execute a clear vision for how data can create value across the organization, identifying strategic opportunities where data can drive significant business impact
  • Identify and prioritize data use cases aligning with Business Partners, Markets, and our IT department that generate substantial value
  • Manage, with the Data & AI Director, strategic initiatives and prepare for key meetings with our ExCom / GM
  • Partner with all stakeholders to define KPIs and ensure a consistent, accurate measurement across all initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on data/AI topics
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements while advocating for ethical use of data (in collaboration with legal teams & DPO)
Coordination & animation of Data Teams / stakeholders

  • Coordinate Data Domain Owners as well as local Data Managers (US, Europe, China, Japan)
  • In particular, animate Data teams worldwide, enabling knowledge sharing and structuring collaboration
  • Coordinate initiatives across all domains (e.g. Client, Media, Distribution)
  • Support Markets and Data Domain Owners in the implementation of their data use cases, and in their change management
Product Vision around Data (incl. AI and GenAI)

  • Own the Dataproduct vision, in partnership with markets & business partners
  • Ensure that the value delivered aligns with expectations
Data Use Cases Delivery

  • Drive the framing of data/AI use cases, and followup on the value created
  • Coordinate all stakeholders (Data Scientists, Tech teams, business units, market partners)
  • Foresee risks and escalate alerts as necessary to management
Academic Background & Professional Experience

  • Graduated from a toptier Engineering or Business School (MBA or additional qualifications in Big Data/Analytics highly appreciated)
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in roles focusing on Data, ideally gained within Retail, Luxury Goods or Management Consulting
  • Experience in strategy consulting highly appreciated
  • Experience in an international environment (mandatory)

  • Demonstrated leadership and vision to steer strategic data initiatives within a complex organizational landscape
  • Thought leader with a deep passion for technology and solutiondriven creativity. Proficient in detailoriented execution of uniquely challenging projects
  • Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work closely with business unit leaders and team members, with strong empathy and creative problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage influence stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • Proficiency in delivering data use cases using Agile methodologies
  • Solid project management skills (framing, analytical rigor, etc.)
Linguistic Competencies

  • Proficiency in English (working language) and French are required
  • Additional languages are an asset
