About the job
Create background paintings and color keys which will be used as references by the surfacing and lighting departments. Might create color scripts. Work closely with art director, production designer and directors.Must have
Strong artistic skills in design, painting, perspective and composition. Advanced software skills in Photoshop. In-depth knowledge of lighting principles and balance. Good understanding of volumes. Good understanding of cinematography and light staging. Understanding of layout and spacing. Background in art history.Nice to have
Experience in traditional painting. Previous experience on feature films.About you
French and/or English fluency is required. Good communication skills and ability to take notes and directions. Ability to work within a team, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines. Available or willing to relocate to Paris (remote work unavailable) . We favor European Union citizens or candidates with French work permit.
