Head of Product Marketing

The Head of Product Marketing serves as a key authority in crafting go-to-market (GTM) strategies for products and solutions within their designated sector. This role encompasses product positioning, marketing strategy, and sales enablement to enhance buyer awareness and achieve targeted business results. The Head of Product Marketing orchestrates product and solution launches across various departments, identifies and prioritizes essential product features, and offers consulting and management support to the designated business initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a GTM strategy for assigned products, markets, and solutions, ensuring that the execution aligns with business objectives
- Oversee platform and point-solution initiatives to concentrate sales efforts and secure revenue and profit targets for specific solutions
- Lead the creation, execution, and dissemination of thought leadership content (webinars, blogs, white papers, etc.) to enhance credibility and awareness, and stimulate pipeline growth
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Sales Operations, and Field Readiness to ensure successful sales roll-outs of sales enablement and support tools
- Formulate product positioning and conduct comprehensive competitive analysis
- Engage with customers in collaboration with Product Management and Sales to identify product and market opportunities
- Determine key functional, ecosystem, and operational requirements to better serve the targeted market
- Provide consulting and management support to marketing and sales sectors, recognizing emerging market opportunities
- Establish influence through thought leadership exposure and speaking engagements within industry associations
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related fields, including product management, industry or corporate marketing, and sales
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing or product marketing within the Software as a Service (SaaS) sector, with a focus on sales channel support preferred
- Expertise in implementing product-led growth go-to-market strategies, methodologies, and tactics
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, from buyers and end-users to executive management
- Proven success in collaborating and influencing cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Enablement, and Customer Success
- Strategic mindset with the capability to derive insights from data for informed decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and optimize strategies that drive business outcomes
- Exceptional listening, communication, and program management skills
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Up to 40% travel may be required
- Reliable internet access is necessary for any remote work
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range in the US: $147,000 to $250,000.00A discretionary bonus is typically awarded annually
Restricted Stock Units are granted at the time of hire
401(k) matching and a comprehensive employee benefits package are provided
The salary range reflects the low and high end of the salary range for this position in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
