A vacancy exists for a Human Factors Specialist in the Cockpit Human Factors & Cockpit Design Department at Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, France.
You will be part of a multicultural team focusing on Human Factors and Cockpit Design for civil and military helicopters.
At Airbus Helicopters, we consolidate various roles contributing to cockpit design, from operational helicopter concepts to crew interface design and Human Factors considerations.
Main Department Activities:
- Understand helicopter operational environments and pilot requirements.
- Study cognitive functions and limitations in helicopter operation.
- Design optimal cockpit layouts based on research.
- Translate research findings into functional specifications.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics.
- Experience in aircraft or helicopter cockpit design.
- Competency in avionics systems and human-machine interfaces.
- Knowledge of aeronautics and experience in airworthiness compliance.
- Transnational experience and soft skills are a plus.
- French and English proficiency required, German skills beneficial.
