Job Description

Your role as Sales Manager
In this position, you will be in charge of selling Commaxx Consumer Electronics products in the French market. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) based in Den Bosch, The Netherlands, you will oversee a team of 4 sales professionals. Your client base will include major national retailers, E-tailers, and distributors. As the Sales Manager, you will have both managerial duties and individual sales targets to meet.

This role is ideal for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset, who can work independently, prioritize people, and treat the business as their own. You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise and experience by being proactive, hands-on, and focused on driving sales. Having a strong network and the ability to boost sales and market share for Commaxx are crucial. Your role involves ensuring the proper positioning of Commaxx brands in France, selecting the right sales channels, and maintaining price stability by negotiating agreements with customers to secure favorable pricing. Collaboration with the Sales Support team is essential.
Representing Commaxx at trade shows will be part of your responsibilities to maximize sales outcomes.
You are expected to embody the entrepreneurial ethos of the company and be ready to take on various tasks. This means not only having the freedom to devise strategic plans but also possessing flexibility and a customer-centric approach.
This position not only allows you to play a vital role in Commaxx's growth but also empowers you to shape the organization and lead it towards success under your guidance. The primary language within the company is English, so proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is crucial, alongside fluency in French, given the nature of the market.
This is a remote position, but frequent travel will be required to visit clients.

What you need to do:
Your main responsibility is to lead the team, grow client relationships, and revenue. Developing and executing strategic plans to boost sales, fostering strong ties with key clients, and effectively implementing business strategies with your team:

• Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts;

• Serve as the primary contact for clients to ensure their satisfaction;

• Manage the team in France;

• Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trade terms to enhance sales and profitability;

• Develop and implement strategic account plans in line with business and sales goals;

• Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and create strategies to leverage them;

• Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and consumer behavior to guide decisions;

• Monitor and assess sales performance, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and take corrective measures;

• Plan and execute promotions, such as product displays, ad campaigns, and in-store promotions;

• Collaborate with marketing teams to devise tailored strategies for key clients;

• Evaluate the efficacy of promotional activities and adjust strategies as necessary;

• Manage account budgets to ensure profitability and alignment with financial targets;

• Monitor pricing and margin performance, implementing pricing tactics to optimize profitability;

• Work closely with various teams like marketing, legal, project management, sales support, manufacturing, and customer service to provide exceptional customer experiences and seamless execution of Key Accounts Strategies.

Qualifications

What you need to bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a Sales Manager in the Consumer Electronics sector in France;

• Strong business acumen with a profound understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer requirements;

• Previous management experience;

• A current network of contacts;

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills;

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools;

• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively;

• Proficiency in French and English, knowledge of Dutch would be advantageous;

• Willingness to travel regularly.
