About the role:
This position is based at the Paris site (Institut du Cerveau, France).
The area of interest will be the central nervous system (CNS), with local gene transfer in the brain and also systemic gene delivery.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provide technical and logístical support to the preclinical manager and the R&D engineer in charge of the project;
- Ensure the preparation of samples for rodent and nonrodent species;
- Ensure the preparation of samples with complex techniques;
- Immunohistochemistry techniques (cryostat sections, freezing microtome, vibratome, kerosene embedding, staining and microscopy);
- Cellular and molecular biology techniques (Westen Blot, ELISA, qPCR, protein/DNA/RNA extraction);
- Performs data entry by hand or with the help of a computer system;
- Contribute to the quality of the studies by ensuring errorfree techniques for the collection and fixation of organs;
- Ensure the technical interface between the research team and the zootechnics team;
- Analyse, format and present the results;

- Animal testing authorization would be a plus
