TRADE STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER H/F

What this position is about - Purpose:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Trade Strategy & Development Manager is tasked with defining and implementing trade strategy and initiatives across tobacconists, resellers, and emerging channels. The key goal is to create top-notch programs that drive volume effectively while overseeing a team of 5 reports.

What you will do - Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Define, prioritize, and execute Trade program strategy across all sectors
  • Provide crucial insights - strategy, performance, and measurements for the A&SP process and commercial reviews.
  • Aid in defining the strategic framework for Trade programs, channels, and activations

Program Development:

  • Formulate exceptional trade programs with high acceptance rates to boost volume

Program & Performance Management:

  • Continuously evaluate and oversee program performance to fine-tune existing programs and tools focusing on business relevance and ROI

Team Management:

  • Hire, inspire, and steer the professional growth of the direct reports

Budget Management:

  • Ensure compliant and efficient budget allocation
  • Proactively manage the trade budget while ensuring investment compliance as per the Annual Plan
  • Collaborate with M&S counterparts to ensure optimum ROI
