About Uber Direct

Uber Direct is a cutting-edge venture that specializes in last-mile delivery across various sectors like Online Food Delivery, Grocery, Retail, and Ecommerce. The goal is to empower merchants to fulfill orders from their own platforms (beyond Uber's marketplaces) with the utmost convenience.

Join a newly established Direct team in France working closely with the Central Uber Direct team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Role Overview:

As an Uber Direct Account Executive, your primary focus will be on acquiring new restaurant, retail, and grocery clients in France. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our on-demand delivery solution for partners, building the Direct business pipeline, forecasting opportunities, and creating territory and account plans.

Companies now emphasize the importance of proximity to customers, including swift delivery. We seek individuals experienced in engaging with various partners in large accounts and negotiating contracts for delivery services in the B2B, B2C, and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect high-value accounts suitable for Uber Direct
  • Articulate the value of Uber Direct to Enterprise prospects and clients
  • Develop territory and account plans to expand the pipeline and access new accounts for Uber Direct
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process for Enterprise Direct prospects, including qualification, education, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Establish strategic relationships with decision-makers to drive growth
  • Update opportunity status, provide forecasts, and participate in business reviews regularly
  • Collaborate with Ops teams to enhance existing accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in a full sales cycle role within logistics, delivery, B2B, or last-mile delivery
  • Experience in contract negotiation and closure
  • Preferably familiar with on-demand/same-day delivery industry
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to opportunities
  • Prioritization skills and timely follow-up on selling activities
  • Negotiation skills with a focus on value retention
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly autonomous and able to work independently
  • Fluency in both English and French
