Job Title: Smart Electrical Database Administrator - SmartPlant Suite

Location: France - Paris

Contract Duration: 1 year


About the Role:

Technip Energies France is seeking an experienced Smart Electrical Database Administrator (SPEL/SEL) to join our client's dynamic electrical engineering team. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the implementation, setup, and configuration of the SEL database, ensuring seamless integration with other IT tools, and supporting the electrical team with database administration tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multi-projects within a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation, setup, and configuration of the SEL database.
  • Manage user access rights and profiles for the electrical database.
  • Provide training and support to users, ensuring they understand the tools and procedures.
  • Develop and document user procedures, and test new software releases.
  • Collaborate closely with the electrical team to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  • Perform error and bug reporting, propose corrective actions, and develop improvements.
  • Interface with other IT tools and systems to ensure smooth integration.


Required Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of electrical principles (e.g., power balance calculations, single line diagrams, cable sizing, etc.).
  • Proven experience in database management and digital tools, with a focus on electrical databases (e.g., SPEL, SEL).
  • Strong IT skills and experience in database configuration.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with team members and clients.
  • Proficiency in English (Working Knowledge minimum).
  • A willingness to learn and take initiative.
