With a strong presence in Paris, they are committed to delivering high-quality advice and solutions to their diverse range of clients.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Corporate Associate to join their thriving team in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with 3-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to work on complex corporate transactions and contribute to the firm's continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
- Draft and review transactional documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and board resolutions.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare due diligence reports for clients.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
- Liaise with clients, counterparties, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Assist in negotiating and finalizing transactional documents and deal terms.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and market trends in the corporate sector.
Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor with 3-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
- Strong academic background with a law degree from a reputable institution.
- Proven experience working on corporate transactions within a reputable law firm.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Fluency in both written and spoken French and English.
