We purchase side-streams and turn them into competitive ingredients, with no compromise on quality.


● Job and missions:

Your mission as the Sourcing Manager Spices & Herbs is to bring the existing amount of sources to another level. We spent 3 years chasing low hanging fruits, analyzing hundreds of side-streams and creating tens of ingredients. Now, it’s confirmed that this product category is ready to grow, and grow big. We feel that we are at the beginning of something huge.


This is a unique opportunity to join the category and develop the sourcing of side streams with no limits.

Day to day will be more or less as follow :

- Leverage your B2B experience and understand the value chain to hunt for the right raw material at the right place. You will use your industrial process knowledge to understand where interesting side-streams could be wasted;

- Map and prospect new suppliers, new countries and new regions;

- Leverage internal knowledge and support to build trust and professional relationships with

key partners;

- Reach ambitious targets of sourced materials to unlock unlimited incentive on their sales;

- Monitor and negotiate purchasing value to improve profitability.

We expect you to build a strong & rigorous sourcing pipeline but also to build a solid relationship with our suppliers for recurring business. The world is your limit and we only started to explore it.


● The team around you

You will be part of the Sourcing team with a direct touch point to category expert who will provide you with all the knowledge and direction you need to be fully effective in a short period of time. Leveraging your teammates in sales, quality, product development, logistics or finance will also be key to succeed in this role.


● Skills needed

Being able to adapt to a start up is important. Things go fast and we need your agility to fit in an ever changing environment. We aim for the better of course as we are constantly looking at improving the way we do things, we grow business, and we improve sustainability of the food industry.


Fondamental :

- You understand perfectly how things are in B2B industry as you have at least 3 to 4 years experience in sourcing and purchasing ingredients;

- Technical background in Food business is needed, agro engineering is best;

- You are proactive and able to anticipate quality & specification constraints of both

suppliers & products;

- You know how to prospect and it is a game you like to play;

- Great communication & listening skills : balance ego, clear points, always propose a

solution when spotting a problem;

- Fluent English. Any other language is great.


Bonus :

- Knowing already well Spices & Herbs Category will be a huge advantage and fast track to

performance;

- Circular economy mindset;

● Conditions

- Contract : Permanent - Full Time.

- Starting date : ASAP.

- Preferred location : Based in Avignon is preferred. We could consider the remote in very

specific conditions.

- Home office : 2 days a week maximum, starting after 1 month.

- Salary : The package starts at 40K€ and will be fine tuned based on your experience.

Bonuses are not capped, and the more you gain, the happier we are.

● Recruiting process

- First meeting : 30mins, content : Your background, experience & motivation.

- Second meeting : 60mins, content : Deep dive questions & scorecard.

- Third meeting : 60mins, content : Management team meeting.

- Fourth & last meeting : On site meeting (lunch) with the whole team.
