LEADERSHIP
I am working with the CEO of this Surgical Robotics company and they are looking for a rising star with the potential to grow strategically to become the first Global HEOR Manager - someone with the capability to direct and own the HEOR department. The person must have experience of working with Medical Devices / Medical Technology. The role reports direct to the CSO who is very well versed in HEOR and will support with the strategy. Everything else is down to you to define - processes and systems are in place of course - but they are open for you to personalise, amend and optimise.
HIGH VISIBILITY - WHERE THE ACTION IS
You will work closely with Investigators, KOLs, Hospital C Suites, patients, Clinical, Marketing, Sales present at conferences and symposiums to industry bodies and also publish research, publications, papers, posters and abstracts. You will become known in the industry and will be a person whose name is recognised by key figures.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
This high visibility role is unhindered by bureacracy and layers of management. You will be high profile and your voice, recommendations will be sought, expected, listened and acted on.
LOCATION
The role can be remote - in the USA or France. Travel will be infrequent as required by the study and evidence.
You will be proving the value of the investment and benefits of this Robotics Surgical technology including study /experiment design, RWE intrepretation, budget management to draw conclusions, evidence and recommendations or disprove hypotheses.
SALARY AND BENS
The HEOR Global Manager role comes with an attractive salary, 15% bonus, equity (which will be worth a lot) and 25 days paid holiday as well as 100% contribution for health , dental, vision. 401K and other benefits are also included not to mention exceptional visibility withinthis organisation and the wider industry well known key figures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Medical Devices experience
- 5-9 years experience in RWE, Health Economics, Health Outcomes Research
- Masters / Degree in Science, Public Health, Finance and Economics or relevant qualification
- Live close to an airport
- Ideally would have had published work
- Experience supporting commercial teams internationally
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with statistical software and modeling tools; savvy with excel and other such tools
- Strong background in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence generation.
- Experience designing and conducting clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes studies.
- Knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement landscapes in healthcare.
- Excellent organization and quantitative skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
