Our Client is a leading global logistics provider specializing in comprehensive transportation solutions for major projects. We partner with EPC companies to deliver seamless logistics services, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of project cargo, including breakbulk, out-of-gauge (OOG), and chartering services.


Job Summary: The Project Logistics Country Manager is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations within the country, focusing on breakbulk, OOG, and chartering activities. This role requires extensive experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation of project cargo. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project logistics, and a proven track record in managing complex logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:

  • Oversee and manage all logistics operations related to breakbulk, OOG, and chartering services.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the transportation of project cargo.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and standards.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with EPC companies to understand project requirements and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during the transportation process.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ensure the team adheres to safety standards and best practices in logistics operations.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers.
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of logistics partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the logistics budget for the country.
  • Monitor and control logistics costs to ensure profitability.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the implementation of safety protocols to protect personnel and cargo.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance.
