L'équipe Reporting Financier d'Amazon France recherche actuellement un(e) senior contrôleur financier rattaché au Finance Manager pour rejoindre dans le cadre d'un CDI son équipe de 8 personnes responsables du contrôle des comptes des entités françaises couvrant l'ensemble des activités du groupe en France (retail, AWS, devices, etc.).

Le/la candidat(e) devra maîtriser le référentiel comptable français et avoir de bonnes connaissances des normes US GAAP.

Le/la candidat(e) devra être un(e) professionnel(le) recherchant un environnement de travail stimulant, et pouvant contribuer à la croissance rapide de nos activités en France.

Dans un environnement en évolution rapide, il/elle sera amené(e) à collaborer avec différents départements et sera en contact régulier avec des acteurs clés de la finance et des opérationnels en France et à l'international.


Amazon's French accounting team is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Finance Manager to join its team of 8 people responsible for controlling the accounts of the French entities covering all of the group's activities in France (retail, AWS, devices, etc.).

The candidate must have a good outstanding accounting skills, and be experienced with French GAAP and have a solid knowledge of US GAAP.

The candidate must be a professional seeking a stimulating work environment and able to contribute to the rapid growth of our activities in France.

In a fast-paced environment, he/she will be required to collaborate with different departments and will be in regular contact with key finance and operational players in France and internationally.

Key job responsibilities


• Participation aux clôtures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles pour les entités françaises en normes françaises et américaines


• Participation aux revues analytiques mensuelles des bilans et des comptes de résultat


• Préparation des comptes statutaires


• Collaboration au lancement de nouvelles entités, activités et autres projets en lien avec le développement du groupe en France


• Réalisation d'analyses comptables et documentation des traitements comptables en normes françaises et normes américaines.


• Collaboration avec des acteurs cross-fonctionnels dans le but de maintenir des processus et des contrôles efficaces


• Participation active à des initiatives internationales d'amélioration, standardisation, refonte des processus et contrôles, mise en application des best practices, en collaboration étroite avec les équipes IT et en démontrant une bonne compréhension des systèmes de reporting financier


• Communications régulières avec les tiers, incluant notamment les commissaires aux comptes, les consultants et les prestataires



• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closings for French entities in French and US GAAP


• Participation in monthly analytical reviews of balance sheets and income statements


• Preparation of statutory accounts


• Collaboration on the launch of new entities, activities and other projects related to the group's development in France


• Performing accounting analyses and documentation of accounting treatments under French and US standards


• Collaboration with cross-functional players to maintain effective processes and controls


• Active participation in international initiatives to improve, standardize, redesign processes and controls, implement best practices, in close collaboration with IT teams and demonstrating a good understanding of financial reporting systems


• Regular communication with third parties, including statutory auditors, consultants and service providers

• Bac + 5 en finance et/ou diplômes comptables (DCG/DSCG)


• Plusieurs années d'expérience en comptabilité et idéalement complétée d'une expérience dans un moyen/grand groupe international dans un environnement en rapide évolution


• Connaissance approfondie des normes comptables françaises et des obligations légales et fiscales locales


• Solides capacités de communication, à l'écrit comme à l'oral, pratique courante du français et de l'anglais des affaires (C1) Le CV devrait être envoyé en anglais.



• Master's degree (BAC + 5) in Finance and/or French CPA (DCG/DSCG)


• Several years of experience with an emphasis on accounting and preferably combined with an experience of working for a medium to large international company, in a fast-paced and changing environment


• Deep knowledge of FR GAAP as well as statutory filings and the related legal and tax requirements


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in both business English and French (C1)
