Senior Controller for Global Indirect Sourcing Finance

Reporting directly to the Global Indirect Sourcing Finance Director, you will serve as a vital Business Partner:

  • Enhance the financial performance of Global Indirect Sourcing by providing strategic advice to the Global Indirect Sourcing Director.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial support to the Global Indirect Sourcing Team.
  • Oversee and guide the processes involved in drafting the Plan, Budget, and Trends for the designated scope.
  • Initiate all necessary actions to achieve economic optimization within your area of responsibility.
  • Establish processes, Group systems, and procedures to ensure the coherence, relevance, and reliability of management and financial information flows in accordance with Group Standards.
  • Ensure adherence to management, accounting, and economic regulations, while contributing to the enhancement of internal control practices, particularly focusing on supplier financial risk identification.

- Act as a Strategic Business Partner

  • Provide analytical support and economic expertise in the development and execution of sourcing strategies and plans for the Global Indirect Sourcing Team.
  • Support the achievement of all relevant financial objectives in alignment with Group guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with key business stakeholders and colleagues to proactively identify risks and opportunities, optimizing spending and project performance.
  • Engage in the formulation of business plans for all major Global Indirect Sourcing Projects.
  • Create visibility on ROI and Value Creation for the designated scope.

- Drive and Monitor Indirect Sourcing Expenditure, Economic Project Performance, and Cost Drivers

At a Global Indirect Sourcing level:

  • Compile and present Global quarterly reports (Budget, Trends, Actuals...) to Management in a timely manner.
  • Analyze discrepancies, verify data consistency, challenge results, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective measures as necessary.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and data quality maintenance of sourcing and financial applications and systems to enhance team efficiency and simplicity.
  • Ensure the consistency and integrity of all data reported to internal stakeholders, aligning financial targets with actual results between Sourcing and Business/Finance.
  • Monitor the financial impacts of key Global initiatives and projects, evaluating outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing team to track, consolidate, and report on Cost Drivers analysis.
  • When applicable, calculate and monitor additional key performance indicators in coordination with sourcing teams.

- Guardian of Internal Control and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with management, accounting, and economic regulations.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal control practices, with a particular focus on supplier financial risk identification.
  • Assist in defining Global financial methodologies and standards.
  • Follow up and contribute to the execution of internal audit and internal control action plans.

- Team Leadership

  • Act as a mentor for apprentices.
  • Ensure that candidates select positions that align with their skills and aspirations.
