Launched in 2019, Taptap is tapping into a transformative shift in global finance: from banks to phones. The Role

As Regional Head - Francophone Africa in the Growth team your role will be to develop and scale Taptap Send's business amongst Francophone African communities in key sender-side markets: the France, US, Canada, as well as the UK, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany. You will have experience in building and scaling a business, and be excited to manage every aspect of key markets: P&L ownership, customer acquisition and retention strategy, user research, product quality, customer experience, team development and coaching. You will have an acute "own it" mindset, equally obsessed with the experience of individual users, with iterating and optimizing scalable processes and tactics, and with thinking big about new products and features that can delight our users.

Reporting to the Global Head of Growth, you'll combine great operational prowess with a data-driven test-and-learn mindset. You'll be a creative thinker who is always looking for ways to hack growth. You'll also have the emotional intelligence and experience to hire and inspire great talent and lead a growing team.

ResponsibilitiesOwn the P&L for Taptap Send's sender markets to Francophone AfricaOversee the execution of TTS's growth strategy in these marketsUnderstand everything that's going on in your markets through the tracking, analysis, and reporting of key metricsDevelop and scale creative growth campaigns that are nevertheless tailored to specific communities Recruit and lead a growing teamWork cross-functionally with Product, Ops, Business Development, and Engineering teams to ensure Taptap Send has the best product offering in the marketRun experiments that help us constantly improve the Growth playbookWork with other members of the Growth team to develop and share best practicesRequirements8+ years of experience in a high-performing, fast-paced environment (tech, professional services, political organizing, etc.) High-growth startup experience and P&L ownership a plus.Experience building and leading a team and a commitment to investing in their developmentA data-driven decision-making mindset and business acumen"No task too small" mentality and willingness to delve into gritty details to get things doneStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPassion for working with and for diaspora communitiesFluent in French and English; knowledge of Wolof, Fante, as well as other European languages a plusThis role will ideally be located in Europe or the UK, but we can also be open to someone located in the US or in West Africa (if you are currently located in one of these places and have the right to work; there would be frequent travel to other markets).Benefits (UK) - specifics depend on geographyCompetitive pay (based on experience)Flexible hoursRegular team eventsTravel (as necessary for the role)Good personal & public holidays (by market)Pension contribution (by market / type of contract)Other additional benefits per location/marketTaptap Values
