Job Overview:Atos is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Controlling Manager to join our finance team with a focus on the public sector.
The Controlling Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for public sector clients, ensuring precision, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a solid finance background, exceptional analytical abilities, and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of financial analysts handling financial activities for public sector clients.
- Develop and manage financial models to aid in budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
- Monitor financial performance against KPIs and offer insights to senior management.
- Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Collaborate with departments for budgeting and forecasting inputs.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and provide performance optimization recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Drive improvements for efficient controlling processes.
- Work with different departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
- Mentor and guide a team of financial analysts for their professional growth.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm.
- Proven track record in enhancing financial performance through analysis and recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in leading financial teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail in data interpretation.
