JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to support a successful execution of the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) business strategy within the Contract Logistics business. The WMS Business Strategy is one of the main workstreams of the Contract Logistics Digital Transformation program and a key enabler for growth & operations excellence. CEVA has a defined portfolio of standardized WMS solutions (Express, Core+, Healthcare & Premium) which are offered and implemented for customers based on their specific needs. WMS Core+ is the main WMS and target solution for 80% of new customers. The CL WMS Product Engineer drives the global execution of the CEVA WMS Business Strategy, thereby providing support and guidance for CEVA teams in the regions and countries in the strategy execution.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Promoting a clear vision on CEVA's WMS strategy and solutions portfolio, including the tools (e.g. supporting documents, training, decision tree) to ensure WMS solution are used effectively and support our operations as intended
  2. Maintain an expert understanding of the WMS capabilities (especially WMS Core+) to support CEVA countries teams with advice and guidance on the WMS products.
  3. Organize structural and adhoc engagement with WMS Super-users Managers in the countries to support them in organizing an effective Super-user team and aligning in the required and delivered WMS product enhancements
  4. Maintain a list of Product Enhancement Requests (PERs), including organizing the priorities. Work with Super-users, Sector Operations Managers and WMS IT CoE teams to detail the requirements and follow up on approval and validation processes all the way till delivery and roll-out in the various countries.
  5. Conduct Site Reviews to validate the correct use of WMS (Core+) in the Operations and to identify and advise operation on (new) features that can be implemented to add further value for operations and customers.
  6. Be involved in connecting CEVA WMS with other (innovative) system solutions like for instance transport solutions, automation & mechanization, data solutions, hardware equipment, etc
  7. Engage pro-actively with other SOE disciplines (e.g. SD, ZDS, BPE, Smart, Innovation) and other CEVA functions (e.g IT, HR, Finance, etc) to support an effective WMS strategy execution..

Internal :

  • Organize monthly session with global team of super-user · Many adhoc interactions with super-users and their managers
  • Weekly update with manager of WMS CoE IT team on Roadmap priorities and status & many adhoc interactions
  • Frequent engagement with CL Experts in countries & regions
  • Frequent engagement with other SOE disciplines (e.g. SD, ZDS, BPE, Smart, Innovation) and other CEVA functions (e.g IT, HR, Finance, etc).

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree, preferably in the area of (Supply Chain) Management and/or Information Technology

EXPERIENCE
  • Good knowledge of supply chain solution and Contract logistics business model
  • Minimum 5 years operational experience, preferably Warehousing or Production environment
  • Minimum 3 years IT systems experience, preferably in configuration, deployment and/or support
  • Experience in working in an International business environment

Experience with Automation and Mechanisation
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Good knowledge in WMS systems
  • Knowledge of CEVA WMS solutions (Express, Core+, Healthcare, OC, Premium)
  • Good skills in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Good understanding of 6 sigma/Lean tools

Knowledge of BlueYonder WMS Dispatcher
INTERPERSONAL & COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • Able to communicate with shopfloor employees & site management.
  • Able to develop meaningful relationships and connections with key stakeholders
  • Good English level
  • Able to communicate with senior management.

Flexibility will be required in being able to travel to other countries to attend business meetings.
