Practice Area Profile

BCG's Insurance Practice is one of BCG's fastest growing practices and serves four industry sectors: Life insurance, Property & Casualty, Commercial & Reinsurance and Health, as well as Insurance brokerage firms. The practice works on the full range of issues of concern to top management, from strategy to operating model redesign, digital transformation, cost, process improvement, risk management strategy, asset management, product development, customer focus, and sales force effectiveness. We have a strong global network and "on-the-ground" experience in all major markets. The Global Practice currently comprises over 200 senior staff and works in Europe, Middle East, the Americas, and Asia Pacific, with a total of 44 insurance active offices worldwide. Our client base is the world's leading global and regional insurance and reinsurance companies and investment and wealth managers. The members of the Insurance Team combine relevant regulatory, technical and analytical know-how with the BCG core competencies: planning, steering and strategy for top management. What You'll Do

BCG is looking for Experienced Professionals to join our team at Project Leader level based in Paris.

As a core member affiliated to BCG's Insurance Practice, you will:

· Elaborating the strategic plan of a leading insurance company, involving the 50-80 top-managers

· Adapting the strategy of a bancassurance company in loan insurance after a new law

· Developing a startup with an insurance company to develop digital insurance

· Creating and steering an important transformation program for a leading international insurance company

· Designing a new pension strategy for an asset manager

· Identifying diversification options for a mutual insurance company

· Designing an in-force management plan for a leading life insurance company

· Managing a team of several consultants.


What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
Project Leader: A minimum of 7 years work experience within a leading strategy consulting firm with knowledge across multiple insurance topics such as Property & Casualty, Life & Retirement, Group Insurance Excellent communication and persuasion skills with strong written and spoken English A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business Solid business acumen, commercial capabilities and business judgement Team player, open and positive in a group dynamic Advanced business degree from a top-tier institution preferred
