What you will do
- Review and annotate financial reports and statements for completeness and correct accounting treatment.
- Critique audit procedures, financial models and controls, identifying missing steps or weak assumptions.
- Assess tax-compliance documentation and explain risks or regulatory issues.
- Review financial and related legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide structured written and verbal feedback for the development and evaluation of training data.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or a related discipline.
- Substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements, with knowledge of cost accounting and budget controls.
- Depth in accounting, economics, taxation, relevant law and government regulation.
- Current or previous work as a CPA, cost accountant, financial auditor, general accountant, internal auditor or revenue-tax specialist.
- Clear technical communication and careful attention to accuracy and compliance.
- CPA, CMA, CIA or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience implementing or advising on financial systems and controls.
- Ability to explain accounting concepts to different audiences.

- Amounts are in USD.
- Your hourly rate and scope are agreed before work begins.
