As an SAP Solutions Architect in Europe, you will work in different business sectors – Retail, CP, Automotive, Life Sciences, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech, Manufacturing – helping them design multi-pillar architectures based on SAP solutions, integrated with best-in-class Apps, in a multi-cloud environment. You'll work alongside our extended SAP teams to help grow our pipeline of opportunities, and benefit from our community of Architects to go beyond your areas of expertise if needed. Given the critical contribution that SAP Solution Architects make the clients global SAP business – both pre-sales and project – the SAP CoEs network has high visibility, both internally and externally, and is considered a crucial element for our client growth and success.

As an SAP Solutions Architect in the SAP Europe CoE, you will be at the heart of the continued expansion of our SAP business. You will work with major new and existing customers across Europe in a pre-sales or project role as a senior SAP Cloud Platform Enterprise Architect. Your scope is Europe – the position can be based anywhere in Europe and includes a combination of working from home and physically being present at client sites or events.

Your role

As an SAP Solution Architect, you will bring your SAP-based enterprise architecture skills (S/4 HANA, BTP, Cloud Platform at the core, SaaS/PaaS, ...) to design the target solution, converting business needs into a multi-pillar SAP architecture that enables agile, flexible, and end-to-end business outcomes.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Lead the solution architecture across SAP and non-SAP components
  • Ensure the supervision of the deliveries of the EMS on the commitments.
  • Analyze, shape, design, and estimate solutions for large SAP transformation opportunities. You will be able to evaluate and synthesize complex RFPs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations at client assignments and external/internal events to gain notoriety.
  • You develop trusting relationships with the customer's stakeholders and key partners such as SAP and Hyperscalers.

Your profile

You will have a passion for working with our customers, advising them on how to architect their future SAP landscape and you will have a depth of consulting and functional experience on SAP and Cloud components.

  • SAP S/4HANA, BTP, solutions SAP SaaS et PaaS (ARIBA, IBP, ...)
  • Knowledge of Hyperscalers solutions - services, hosting, models - and the operation of construction platforms and other PASS and third-party tools.
  • Experience in the cloud economy
  • You have experience in pre-sales, with the demonstrated ability to shape and structure responses to calls for tenders.
  • You are a good communicator, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience presenting to client stakeholders up to C-Level.
  • Knowledge of the strategic direction of SAP products and how to integrate them into a coherent framework.

In addition, you must be able to demonstrate your experience or willingness to learn:

  • Strong links with the wider SAP ecosystem, e.g. SAP and other relevant partner organizations.
  • Cloud trends and evolving SAP positioning and offerings.
  • The API economy
