Pre-sales Solutions Architect Storage

**Notre mission**
Pre-sales Solutions Architects specialized in Data and Storage are the primary technical contact for our clients and prospects during the first phases of their project.
PSAs engage deeply with technical contacts and C-level in order to build Scaleway Architectures and resolve migration challenges.
We need individuals who can develop positive relationships with our customers, learn their requirements and work to bring cloud solutions that enable their success.
Reporting to the Head of Solutions Architect, your primary responsibilities will be to increase customer acquisition.
You will find answers and solutions to our clients along the Sales discovery process.
**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with various types of storage solutions such as Object Storage, Block Storage, File Storage, Distributed Storage, Software Defined Storage.
- Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or equivalent working with customers in a B2B company.
- Experience in Cloud architecture, data migrations, and challenges related to container orchestration and storage.
- Experience in large database management related to storage performance.
- Experience in Negotiating complex deals
- Very good command of French and English
**Responsibilities**:
- Be the Cloud Data and Storage expert within the Sales Team to help drive more revenue
- Serve as the technical liaison, collaborate with sales, marketing and services team to create customized presentations, demos and proof of concepts
- Handle and resolve technical questions and challenges encountered by clients during the first phases of their projects
- Drive proof of concept projects to success by creating a convincing story that shows our solution as a must-have that delivers quantifiable and tangible business value to our customers
- Take learning from the field and feed them back to improve our products, solutions and sales process
- Elevate the story so that your sales team and you can pitch effectively to C-level executives and technical teams
- Seek to understand the Cloud markets; Deep dive technically in Scaleway and learn from competitors; Share your knowledge with other Solutions Architects and your Sales team
