Compliance Advisory – Global Markets

A leading global investment bank is seeking a Compliance Advisory professional to join its Global Markets Compliance team in Paris. This is a high-visibility role supporting front-office activities across a broad range of asset classes in a fast-paced, international environment. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to the business, providing day-to-day regulatory advice and oversight across sales and trading activities. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with European and global regulatory requirements while supporting the bank’s commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Provide real-time compliance advisory support to Global Markets businesses (Sales, Trading, Structuring). Advise on regulations including MiFID II, MAR, EMIR, PRIIPs, market conduct and product governance. Review and challenge new products, transactions, and business initiatives. Support regulatory change projects and implementation of new rules. Liaise with regulators, internal stakeholders, and global compliance teams. Contribute to policies, procedures, training, and monitoring activities. Requirements Proven experience in Compliance Advisory within Global Markets at an investment bank or equivalent financial institution. Strong knowledge of European financial markets regulation (MiFID II essential). Understanding of market abuse, conflicts of interest, and conduct risk. Ability to engage confidently with senior front-office stakeholders. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is essential.
