- Produce rigorous derivations and analyses in your physics specialty.
- Present assumptions, approximations and results using LaTeX.
- Use SymPy, Python or Jupyter for symbolic/numerical checking where appropriate.
- Examine boundary conditions, dimensions, exceptional cases and ambiguities.
- Revise solutions after review while maintaining clear research documentation.
- Ability to provide rigorous specialist physics reasoning and clear technical solutions.
- A physics PhD or advanced doctoral candidacy with active research.
- Expertise in high-energy, mathematical, biological, statistical, condensed-matter (including moiré systems, magnetism and PXP/Rydberg models), AMO/quantum-optical, gravitational, cosmological, astrophysical, quantum-information or optical-materials physics.
- Two to five representative publications from approximately the past five years, with accessible arXiv/DOI references.
- LaTeX and relevant SymPy/Python/Jupyter competence, with any support needs identified.
- Clear scientific writing and strong analytical reasoning.
- Availability through an 8–10-week period, around 10 hours weekly.
- Open worldwide.
