Sales Engineer – Digital Experience Solutions (Paris, France)
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for helping businesses leverage cutting-edge digital solutions? We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join a growing, innovative software company that specializes in digital experience platforms (DXP), cloud solutions, open-source technologies, and content management systems.
As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the bridge between complex technology and real-world business needs, working closely with both technical and commercial teams to deliver value-driven solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Engaging Demos – Develop compelling product demonstrations that showcase the power of our solutions.
- Technical Leadership – Guide clients in installation, configuration, and best practices to maximize platform capabilities.
- Solution Design – Work alongside sales teams to craft tailored solutions that meet business requirements.
- Client Engagement – Partner with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how our technology solves their challenges.
- Proposal Development – Support RFPs/RFIs, Proof of Concepts, and technical documentation to drive deals forward.
- Sales Collaboration – Work closely with account managers to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing – Conduct training sessions to upskill internal teams and clients on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Travel – Expect to travel 25% for on-site client and partner engagements.
What You Bring
- Strong technical background with experience in web technologies (Java, JavaScript, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise way.
- Problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying client challenges and crafting innovative solutions.
- Experience in pre-sales or solution consulting, particularly with DXP, CMS, or Cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of software architecture, integration, and business requirements gathering.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java-based platforms and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
- Previous experience in a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales role within a software vendor.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and demonstrate solutions to both executive and technical audiences.
- Industry expertise in at least one domain: DXP, Cloud, Security, or Enterprise Software.
