ESG Project Manager

Our client, a leading multinational bank, is looking for an ESG specialist to join their team in Paris to work on ESG advisory and implementation. This role acts as a project manager to internally and externally advise on Sustainability and ESG topics for the bank. This role would best suit somebody with a consultancy or project manager background specifically within ESG or Sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Implement ESG strategy internally in cooperation with HQ and other European offices
- Advise on the sustainability implications of banking deals, and work closely with the front office on these transactions
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on project processes
- Embed sustainability practices into the firms strategy, and encourage engagement from internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of all ESG and sustainability topics, specifically that pertain to EU regulations
- Experience either advising on ESG practices, or consulting experience in the same space
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; ideally in sustainability or relevant fields
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
