Our client is a global Investment firm dedicated to the healthcare industries with 8B in AUM. Their mission is to support healthcare companies in their internationalization efforts, capacity increase, product range expansion, and strategic acquisitions. With a focus on long-term value creation, they aim to contribute to the advancement of healthcare worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and healthcare services. Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to assess potential investments.
- Transaction Execution: Lead the execution of investment transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation. Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical teams to ensure successful deal closure.
- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of healthcare investments, working closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and operational excellence. Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio management teams.
- Industry Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics in the healthcare sector. Conduct in-depth analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare investment, private equity, or venture capital. Proven track record of successfully sourcing, executing, and managing investments in the healthcare sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with medical technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk-return profiles.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate complex investment ideas and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
