Our client a global integrated energy company is looking for a The Construction Manager who will lead the client Construction Team and be responsible for ensuring the safe construction and pre-commissioning of the erected facilities permitting the successful handover to the commissioning team.
Accountability:
- Accountable for the development of construction execution planning and construction activities for this project, ensuring realistic fabrication and installation schedules.
- Assist in the identification, selection and contracting of all resources required for the execution and management of construction activities.
- Establish rigorous processes for execution, monitoring and reporting of all work against established safety, cost, schedule and performance measures.
- Identify key risks to delivery and ensure adequate risk mitigation or contingency plans are in place. Lead all construction and support commissioning activities, including handover to operations.
Must have:
- Advanced relevant work experience, preferable in the Refining and Petrochemicals Industry.
- Extensive construction experience.
- Experience supervising or managing a major onshore construction project.
- Experience with design phase planning and construction.
- Willingness and ability to travel to fulfill the responsibilities of this job.
- Demonstrate high ethical conduct in areas of procurement, contracts, evaluation of contractors and all other areas associated with procurement.
