Turn scanned charts, faxes and free-text notes into structured, coded, confidence-scored clinical data.
What you’ll do
- Own the clinical reader: layout analysis, OCR, extraction, coding (ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm).
- Build confidence calibration that a downstream underwriter can trust.
- Design the reconciler’s conflict rules with clinicians and make them explainable.
- Publish where we can.
What we’re looking for
- Research or applied experience in document understanding or clinical NLP.
- Comfortable with both fine-tuning and prompting; know when each is right.
- Rigorous about evaluation on messy real-world data.
- Care that the model says ‘I’m not sure’ when it isn’t.
