The work Apply senior editorial judgment to manuscripts and AI-generated editorial suggestions.
Responsibilities
- Review narrative structure, voice and continuity across a manuscript.
- Provide actionable line, copy and developmental edits.
- Assess generated editorial advice and help define reliable review standards.
Experience and eligibility
- Extensive experience editing published books for established authors or publishers.
- Excellent literary English and the ability to explain nuanced revisions.
- Recognised titles and editorial leadership are useful evidence, rather than universal requirements.
- US-based editors are preferred, while suitably qualified applicants elsewhere can be considered.
Specialist options and pay
Pay: $84–$126/hr. Amounts are in USD. The applicable track and rate are confirmed before work.
