Software Engineer (.NET / SQL / Integration Systems)

Location: Lyon, France (minimum 3 days onsite per week)
The client is seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer to support and enhance business-critical applications responsible for data management, file transfer, system integrations, and automated processing within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET applications and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Support enterprise systems responsible for business-critical data processing and validation.
- Maintain and improve integrations between internal and external applications.
- Modernise legacy components and help reduce technical debt across existing platforms.
- Ensure reliable automated processing, file-transfer workflows, and messaging services.
- Work with Azure technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based services.
- Collaborate with international teams while working independently on technical solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong commercial experience with .NET Framework/C#.
- Microsoft SQL Server and database development.
- Experience building or supporting application integrations.
- Azure CI/CD pipelines and Azure Functions.
- Experience with messaging technologies (MQ or similar).
- Ability to work autonomously within a small team.
- Professional English communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience supporting legacy application modernisation projects
